Spatial video essentially refers to an immersive 3D video clip. These are recorded at 1080p at 30 fps in SDR. You can view spatial videos in all your Apple devices in two dimensions and on Apple Vision Pro in three dimensions.
Firstly, you need to enable Spatial Video recording on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max by Opening Settings < Camera < Formats < Enable the toggle next to Spatial Video for Apple Vision Pro. To record spatial videos on iPhone, Open camera app < Select Video < Tap the icon at the bottom of the screen that looks like an Apple Vision Pro headset, when selected, it turns yellow < Tap record.
For an immersive experience, frame your composition to include deatils in the foreground, midground, and background. As you can see, this image has buildings as the foreground, the airplane as the midground and sky as the background. This enables the viewer to mainly focus on the main subject.
Make sure to have even, bright lighting. This makes your video more vibrant and colourful. The best lighting you can use is the naural sunlight.
While capturing video, try to keep your iPhone level with your subject. The composition of your photos depends on the position and angle of your iPhone. Different positions you can hold your iPhone at is eye-level position, high position, low position, in accordance with your subject.
