Today we are going to be getting familiar with the DSE configuration suite software manual this includes reading and writing of modules and update in the module’s firmware. The DSE Configuration Suite installer allows the module to be connected to a PC via USB-A & USB-B cables.

You will need this program if you’re going to be making substantial changes to your controller there is of course a front panel editor where you can make small minor changes and information on this can be found on the installation instructions of the respective module.

When the configuration suite opens and on the left-hand side where you can create a new configuration all the files here are all pre-existing default configuration files.

• Once you downloaded the file Right click and start the installation.
• The Wizard will install DSE Configuration Suite on your Windows PC.
• Click the “Next” button to continue the installation process.
• Choose Setup Type (Typical, Custom, or Complete).
• Then select the way you want features to be installed.
• Click on the icons in the tree to change the way features will be installed.
• Click on the install button to begin the installation.
• During installation click to “Allow” unsigned driver installation if prompted.
• Enter the login details when prompted.
• Select the modules or options to install.
